Chase Hansen scored on a 10-yard run on the first series of overtime, then came away with a game-ending interception on the ensuing drive Friday to lift Pahranagat Valley to a 28-20 win over visiting Joshua Springs (Calif.).
Hansen’s TD run in overtime gave Pahranagat (3-0) a 26-20 lead before Cody Hosier hit Kale Leavitt with a two-point conversion pass.
Hansen carried 18 times for 116 yards for the Panthers. He also scored on a 45-yard run in the second quarter.
Hosier completed 11 of 18 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns for Pahranagat Valley, which extended its winning streak to 25 games.
