McKinney scores six touchdowns in Silverado romp

Deyon McKinney’s six touchdowns helped Silverado’s football team to a 65-0 home win over Valley on Thursday.

McKinney scored all six touchdowns in the first half, including a 40-yard punt return in the second quarter. He finished with 132 yards on 11 carries, and a reception that went for 52 yards.

Quarterback Jarrett Alipipo went 4 of 4 for 136 yards for the Skyhawks (3-2, 1-0 Northeast League), including a 35-yard touchdown pass to Robert Richardson in the first quarter.

Silverado outgained Valley 355-45. Iyen Medlock carried 15 times for 50 yards for the Vikings (0-5, 0-1).
