Segura, Trojans down Warriors

Pahrump Valley's A.J. Segura rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown and passed for 63 yards and another score Friday as the Trojans (2-6, 2-2 Division I-A Sunset) beat the visiting Western (1-7, 0-4), 21-8.

Segura scored on a 5-yard run and hit Dalton Beighley with a 10-yard TD pass as the Trojans built a 21-0 halftime lead.

Pahrump’s Cody Keasling carried 15 times for 93 yards, including a 1-yard TD.

Larry Jennings threw a 10-yard TD pass to Quayjon Walker for Western.
