Solomon, Gaels rip Trojans

Bishop Gorman freshman quarterback Jarrett Solomon threw three touchdown passes and the second-ranked Gaels (3-0, 2-0 Southwest League) held Pahrump Valley (0-2, 0-2) to 90 yards of offense in a 50-0 road victory.

Solomon was 6-for-13 for 132 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, when Gorman accumulated 350 yards of offense on 30 plays.

Victor Belen scored on an 85-yard run 35 seconds into the game and finished had 137 yards on five rushes by halftime.

Pahrump’s best possession was a 60-yard drive that fizzled late in the first half.
