Victor leads Las Vegas over Douglas

Farrell Victor scored three touchdowns on Friday to lead Las Vegas High to a 48-21 home win over Douglas.

Victor had a 47-yard TD run in the first quarter, and caught TD passes of 36 and 17 yards from Hasaan Henderson.

Henderson also hit Barry Williams with TD passes of 37 and 11 yards.

Las Vegas coach Chris Faircloth said he was especially happy with the win because he lost a lot of players to graduation.

“You never know what going to happen when you field a bunch of young players,” he said, “but they responded with good plays.”
