Washburn, Eagles top Chargers

Boulder City's Tyler Washburn rushed for 155 yards and a 3-yard touchdown on 11 carries to lead the Eagles (3-5) to a 33-7 road win over Clark (3-5) on Friday.

Washburn’s TD capped an opening drive on which he gained all 69 yards. Boulder City rushed for 348 yards on 41 attempts.

James Morgan (64 yards, 10 carries) supplied TDs of 1 and 16 yards, and Xavier Steel ran for a 6-yard score. Defensive end D.J. Koopman, who made nine tackles and two sacks, scored on a 48-yard fake punt. Washburn had 10 tackles.

Clifton Smith scored for Clark on a 10-yard run and finished with 94 yards on 10 carries. Deyon McKinney gained 111 yards on 13 attempts.
