GOLF: Taylor, McEachern help Gaels edge Mustangs
Blake Taylor and Bryce McEachern each shot 3-over-par 39 at Painted Desert on Monday to help Bishop Gorman’s boys golf team to a 209-211 win over Shadow Ridge.
The Mustangs’ Ben Davis and Tanner Johnson also carded 39s, and teammate Max Valencia shot 40.
Eagles top Green Valley
At Boulder City Municipal, Kyler Atkinson and Kyle Effertz each shot a 4-over 40 to lead Boulder City to a 210-219 victory over Green Valley.
The Gators’ Ty Klabacka was the medalist with a 39, and teammate Grayson Savio shot 40.
