GOLF: Becker, Crusaders win Sunset match
Julia Becker shot 1-under-par 71 on Thursday at Siena to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls golf team to victory in a Sunset League match.
Sydney Smith added a 77, and Olivia Vogel shot 79 for the Crusaders, who posted a team score of 333.
Clark was second at 347, and Pahrump Valley was third with a 428.
Clark’s Cassandro Ho was fourth individually at 80, followed by teammates Grace Kang (81) an Cassandra Ho (82).
Panthers down Centennial
At TPC Las Vegas, Madison Hendricks shot a 6-over 42 to lead the Panthers to a 182-188 win over the Bulldogs.
Morgan Zimmerman added a 44 for Palo Verde.
Nicole August led Centennial with a 46.
