Saints’ Horita fourth at Division III state meet

Mountain View’s Kristine Horita finished fourth in the Division III state golf meet at Eagle Valley East in Carson City.

Horita shot a 26-over-par 98 on Tuesday to finish with a 36-hole total of 201.

Incline’s Devi Meyers was the individual champion with a 36-hole score of 166. Incline’s Kennedy Cohn was second at 181, and teammate Christine Schwartz made it a sweep of the top three spots with a 197.

The Highlanders also won the team title with a total of 758, easily outdistancing second-place Wells (916).

Round Mountain’s Raquel Damian finished 10th at 221.
