SOCCER: Dietrich, Falcons down Gators

Jackson Dietrich had a goal and an assist Wednesday to lead Foothill’s boys soccer team to a 3-1 victory at Green Valley.

Robby Cowan and Mason Reid also scored for the Falcons, who got two assists from Dakota Maack.

Antonio Trama scored for the Gators.

Shadow Ridge 3, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, Dominic Damato scored the eventual winning goal with seven minutes left to lift the Mustangs by the Pioneers.

Jacob Fisher and Matt Camacho also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Danny Moran and Jonathan Martinez scored for Canyon Springs.

GIRLS

Shadow Ridge 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Brooke McArthur and Madison Garvin each scored a goal to lead the Mustangs by the Pioneers.

Kaila Hurley made one save and recorded the shutout for Shadow Ridge.
