Soccer playoff pairings set

The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association has finalized playoff seedings and first-round matchups for the playoffs for the Class 3A and 4A boys and Class 3A girls.

In Class 4A, the top four teams in each league in both the Sunset and Sunrise Region qualify for the postseason, which begins Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Bettye Wilson Park.

The Class 3A boys and girls Southern League tournaments are Nov. 7 and 8 at the Mesquite Sports Complex Fields.

The Class 3A girls tournament isn't completely set yet as White Pine and Virgin Valley tied for fourth place and must play a play-in match, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bettye Wilson Park.

No. 3 SE Silverado (9-6-2) vs. No. 2 NE Eldorado (11-1-5), 4 p.m.
No. 3 NE Valley (7-3-4) vs. No. 2 SE Green Valley (10-3-3), 4 p.m.
No. 4 NE Chaparral (5-6-3) vs. No. 1 SE Tech (12-1-3), 6 p.m.

No. 4 SW Spring Valley (9-7-2) vs. No. 1 NW Centennial (15-1), 6 p.m.
No. 3 SW Durango (9-7-2) vs.No. 2 NW Palo Verde (11-5), 4 p.m.
