Coronado’s boys golf shot a two-day total of 23-over-par 599 as a team to win the Class 4A state golf tournament at Reflection Bay Golf Club on Tuesday. It was the Cougars’ first title since 2012, and Coronado players celebrated by jumping into Lake Las Vegas.

Clark defensive back Isaiah Veal grabbed three interceptions, and the Chargers football team held Desert Oasis to 118 yards of total offense in their 36-0 home win on Friday.
Rahul Gupte went 3-0 in singles Friday to lead Clark’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 road victory over Bishop Gorman.
Ariana and Andrada Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles, and Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team won the tiebreaker 5-1 to claim a 10-9 road win over Shadow Ridge on Friday.
