Las Vegas High’s boys basketball game forfeited two non-league games Monday as the result of using an ineligible player.

Rancho volleyball team hopes togetherness translates to success

Arbor View gets chance for revenge against Palo Verde in baseball season opener

The Aggies were the Northwest League”s No. 1 playoff seed last season but went 1-2, including a 21-7 loss to Palo Verde in the Sunset Region tournament that ended their season. Led by all-state shortstop Nick Quintana, Arbor View has high hopes for this season.

Coronado’s Pinkston comes back from back surgery

Sarah Pinkston was a second-team All-Nevada selection as a freshman at Shadow Ridge, but missed her sophomore season after back surgery. Amazingly, just less than 13 months after surgery, she”s back in the circle and hoping to lead Coronado to a Southeast League title.
