For most of this season, the Valley boys soccer team had only 13 players on its roster. It has been a lucky number for the Vikings.

Faith Lutheran junior Chase Wood fell just 11 seconds short of the Division I-A state cross-country state title last year. He”s been hard at work this summer to make sure he”s the first one to cross the line this season.
