Outlook: Johnson, who guided Spring Valley to a second-place finish in the Southwest League last, year takes over one of his former opponents.
And he's starting with a very young team that has just two seniors and one junior.
"Even though we are a young team, a lot of them play travel softball and are playing all year long," Johnson said. "Desert Oasis has made the playoffs every year. We expect to make the playoffs again this year."
