ROUNDUP: Crusaders rally, top Pioneers in 10 innings

Faith Lutheran’s softball team scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to force extra innings Monday, then tallied three runs in the top of the 10th to collect a 15-12 win at Canyon Springs.

Lily Bonora went 3-for-6 with a double and four RBIs, and Kelly Zufall was 2-for-4 for the Crusaders, who scored two of their 10th-inning runs on throwing errors.

Ceire Berkenmiller was 3-for-4 with two triples for Canyon Springs.

Liberty 5, Eldorado 3 — At Liberty, Megan Patras and Diana Cassaro hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the sixth to help the Patriots hold off the Sundevils.

The solo homers put Liberty up 5-1 before Eldorado rallied for two runs in the top of the seventh.

Kayla Nasife went 2-for-4 for the Sundevils.

Coronado 7, Valley 2 — At Coronado, Katie Cochran had a home run and two RBIs, and Danielle Amato was 2-for-3 with a run to help the Cougars defeat the Vikings.

Lee Harrison threw a five-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks for Coronado. She also tripled.

Valley’s Mickayla Romero was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Arbor View 7, Foothill 4 — At Arbor View, Ashlyn Ames threw a two-hitter to lead the Aggies past the Falcons.

Dacia Sykes went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Arbor View, and teammate Carli Lehr was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Tech 17, Sierra Vista 7 — At Sierra Vista, winning pitcher Amanda Roark went 4-for-4, and the Roadrunners used an 11-run fifth inning to down the Mountain Lions in a five-inning game.

Danyella Gonzalez and Felicia Richardson each homered for Sierra Vista.

Palo Verde 10, Las Vegas 0 — At Palo Verde, Rachael Williams tossed a five-inning three-hitter with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with a triple as the Panthers routed the Wildcats.

Cheryl Iddings went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Rachael Turner was 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Palo Verde.
