SWIMMING: Moore, Todd propel Mojave girls to win over Western

Azilee Moore and Ashleigh Todd each won two events on Thursday to lead Mojave’s girls swimming team to a 130-99 win over Western at Adelson School.

Moore won the 200-meter freestyle in 3 minutes, 14.47 seconds, and also placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:49.68). Todd won the 50 freestyle (36.23) and 100 freestyle (1:28.05).

Nadira Koljenovic won the 400 freestyle (5:29.45) and 200 individual medley (2:48.81) for Western.

Clark 188, Adelson School 54 — At Adelson School, Samantha Freeman and Emma Davis each won two individual events to help the Chargers down the Lions.

Freeman won the 200 freestyle (2:39.94) and 100 breaststroke (1:35.25). Davis was first in the 100 backstroke (1:30.18) and 200 individual medley (3:02.41).

BOYS

Clark 193, Adelson School 27 — At Adelson School, William Wang won twice to help the Chargers beat the Lions.

Wang won the 50 freestyle (25.29) and 100 butterfly (1:07.81).

Mojave 130, Western 99 — At Adelson School, Jordan Callaway won the 100 freestyle (1:12.55) and 100 breaststroke (1:39.45) to lead the Rattlers to the win over the Warriors.

Western’s Halim Koljenovic won the 100 backstroke (1:05.84) and 100 butterfly (1:04.36).
