ROUNDUP: McCourt, Leonard rally Crusaders from two down against Aggies

Kelsey McCourt racked up 46 assists and seven digs, and Sam Leonard had 11 digs, eight kills and three aces Tuesday as Faith Lutheran’s girls volleyball team rallied for a 21-25, 16-25, 25-17, 25-16, 17-15 home win over Arbor View.

Vanessa Sigman supplied nine kills and seven digs, and Taylor Hammer spiked 10 kills for the Crusaders. Taylor Richards added nine kills, and Lindsay Flangas had 13 digs for Faith Lutheran.

Erika Kelly posted 22 kills and six digs, and Allison McClure compiled 24 assists and 11 digs for Arbor View. Jocelyne Gonzalez had 11 digs, and Natalie Stepna added seven digs and five kills for the Aggies.

Desert Oasis 3, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Desert Oasis, Emily Heinz posted 19 kills and 14 digs, and teammate Brittany Jensen added 24 digs as the Diamondbacks outlasted the Trojans, 25-18, 13-25, 15-25, 25-17,15-13.

Courtney Scheller tallied 20 assists and five digs for Desert Oasis, and Kendra Stanfield added 10 digs, four kills, eight assists.

Regan Van Engen recorded 12 blocks, and Taylor McJunkin posted 13 kills for Pahrump, which got 17 assists from Sara Wulfenstein.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Stephanie Herman had 23 assists, four kills and three aces, and teammate Mikayla Diers tallied four kills and three blocks as the Panthers swept the Longhorns, 25-11, 25-15, 25-15.

Melanie Gueorguiev supplied six kills, three blocks and three digs for Palo Verde.

Alexis Fuller had seven digs, and Jessica Van Alfen spiked five kills for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Mojave 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Taylor Spencer tallied 21 asssists and five aces as the Mustangs swept the Rattlers, 25-14, 25-15, 25-12.

Destinee Beavers added seven kills for Shadow Ridge.

Centennial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Ashley Hill served seven aces, and teammate Kristi Farley added seven aces and nine assists as the Bulldogs swept the Desert Shields, 25-4, 25-3, 25-9.

Lacy Miyahira added four kills and four aces for the Bulldogs.

Bishop Gorman 3, Clark 1 — At Gorman, Kylee Chun had 32 assists, six kills and three aces, and teammate Shelby Devlin had 33 kills, two blocks and two aces as the Gaels defeated the Chargers, 25-13, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Rachel Wallace posted 12 kills for the Gaels, and Breanna Rubalcaba and Taylor Cason added 19 and 18 digs, respectively.

Alexa Springs led Clark with six kills, and Michelle Diamant supplied five kills.

Bonanza 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Jessica Wilcox tallied eight kills, seven aces and four digs, and Bree Hammel had 10 kills, six digs and two blocks to help the Bengals sweep the Trailblazers, 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

Rykki Rudd added 11 kills and three blocks for Bonanza.

Sarah Tullis had 11 assists, and London Estrada contributed 10 digs for Durango.

Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Jenna Swaffer had 24 assists and five aces, and Nikki Drost tallied 14 kills and five aces as the Gators completed a perfect trip through the Southeast League with a 25-8, 25-13, 25-9 sweep of the Patriots.

Carly Schiess added seven kills and three digs for Green Valley.

Sierra Vista 3, Las Vegas 1 — At Sierra Vista, Taylor Price spiked 14 kills, and Alexis Land tallied five blocks to help the Lions tame the Wildcats, 21-25, 25-22, 25-15, 27-25.

Tiffany Jackson dished out 33 assists, and Desiree Lair had 16 digs and 12 kills for Las Vegas, which got 15 digs from Matti Ventling.

Spring Valley 3, Western 0 — At Spring Valley, Jessica Reid had 17 digs and four aces, and teammate Kalianna Mahling had 14 digs as the Grizzlies swept the Warriors, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Tori Patterson added 12 assists, eight digs and five aces for Spring Valley.

Carol Riggs led the Warriors with 23 assists, and Paea Savou added 19 assists.

Boulder City 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Avalon Frantz had 37 assists and five aces, and Ali Rants recorded 43 digs as the Eagles beat the Spartans, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 27-25.

Whitney Barlow spiked 12 kills, and Eliza Jeppsen added nine kills for Boulder City.

Toree Manumaleuna had 19 kills and six digs, and Erica Padilla had 29 assists and four digs for Cimarron.

Virgin Valley 3, Moapa Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Nikki Arquette racked up 36 assists, 13 digs, six kills and five aces as the Bulldogs rallied for a 28-26, 23-26, 23-25, 25-22, 15-8 win over the Pirates.

Heidi Lister put up 17 kills, eight digs and two aces, and Alora Bonner had 16 kills, 13 digs and seven aces for Virgin Valley, which got 10 digs and seven aces from Halle Wakefield.

Mallory Reed paced Moapa Valley with 13 kills.

Calvary Chapel 3, Laughlin 0 — At Calvary Chapel, Brettani Davis had 10 digs and eight aces, and Brooke Davis added 15 assists and two kills as the Lions cruised past the Cougars, 25-11, 25-8, 25-7.

McKenna Beckwith served eight aces, and Jamie Mejia spiked seven kills for Calvary Chapel.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Lincoln County 0 — At Panaca, Halie Lewis had seven kills, and Kimberly Lewis added seven assists and four digs to lead the Panthers past the Lynx, 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.

Kyla Mortensen had three kills and three digs, and Bailee Hosier added four digs for Pahranagat Valley.

Nicole Florence paced Lincoln County with 10 digs, eight kills and two blocks. Tia Florence added seven kills, eight digs and two blocks for the Lynx, who got nine assists from Kourtney Gloeckner.

Adelson School 3, Word of Life 0 — At Adelson School, Allie Baracani had seven assists and five aces, and Elie Steinberg tallied seven aces and four kills to help the Lions sweep the Eagles, 25-12, 25-2, 25-9.

Morgan Goodelman added three aces and two kills for the Lions.
