McGeshick leads Laughlin to Lincoln County Invitational title
Four Laughlin wrestlers won individual championships Saturday at the Lincoln County Invitational to carry the Cougars to the team title.
Laughlin senior Cody McGeshick went 2-0 at 171 pounds to take first place and receive Outstanding Wrestler honors. The Cougars also got individual titles from Brian Romero (125), Jimmy Minniear (135) and Jake Hodges (140).
Laughlin scored 144 points to top the eight-team field. West Wendover was second with 111, followed by Eureka with 90.
