55-year-old Arizona man’s death under investigation

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- An Arizona man rescued at Lake Havasu late Saturday afternoon died Sunday at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Mohave County sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter said Monday.

Carter said it is unclear what happened to David Anderson, 55, after he entered the water from the shore near Body Beach. CPR efforts were started immediately after another person pulled Anderson from the lake at about 5:20 p.m.

Anderson was taken to an Arizona hospital before he was flown to Las Vegas. The incident remains under investigation.
