76-count indictment returned against Boulder City teacher

A Boulder City teacher accused in April of molesting young boys was indicted this week on dozens of counts of lewdness with a minor, possession of pornography, sexual assault and other charges.

A Clark County grand jury indicted Charles "Rick" Rogers on a total of 76 charges.

He is accused of sexually assaulting and molesting multiple young boys under the age of 14 and using the victims in child pornography.

Authorities said Rogers, a foster parent, had gained access to the victims by hosting sleepovers at his home and either drugging them or plying them with alcohol.

Rogers is behind bars and is being held on $1.3 million bail. His attorney said today that Rogers cannot make the bail, but declined further comment.
