Jail records show the driver, identified as 21-year-old Rashad Charjuan Owens, remained in custody Friday pending formal charges. Police have said they believe Owens was driving drunk. Toxicology test results are pending.

A spokesman for University Medical Center Brackenridge on Friday said two patients were critical, another is serious, another is in fair condition and two patients are in good condition. St. David’s HealthCare had three victims in fair condition.
