Airport security caught on camera diving to save falling baby

Airport security isn’t often on the receiving end of well-wishes, but a video out of Poland this week shows a man who has a very big reason to be grateful to a security guard this holiday season.

CCTV footage taken Nov. 23 in Katowice Airport in Poland, but released to the public this week, shows a man set his baby on the edge of a table after he goes through the security checkpoint.

As the man tried to put his coat on, the baby teeters and falls off the table.

The lower left corner of the footage shows a security guard appearing out of nowhere to catch the baby inches before he hits the ground.

The guard, Grzegorz Paczko, told TVN24 he was standing 12-15 feet from the baby when he saw him start to fall. He said he instinctively dived to catch the child.

Paczko was awarded a special bonus for his efforts, according to the Telegraph.
