Building a trail at 11,000 feet

Volunteers, student conservationists and members of the Friends of Nevada Wilderness built a trail from the saddle near Griffith peak to the summit at 11,060 feet. The collaborative effort to finish the trail was done to help preserve endemic plant species found in the Spring Mountains from being trampled on by hikers.
