The woman found dead Friday in the garage of a house at Nellis Air Force Base has been identified as Theresa Rivera by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Rivera, 34, died from asphyxiation, according to the coroner’s office.
Her husband, Rickey Massey Jr., 32, an airman at the base, was arrested by Las Vegas police and booked on a murder charge Friday.
Massey’s rank and his unit designation were unavailable Monday. A base spokesman deferred questions about Massey and Rivera to Las Vegas police who made the arrest along with Nellis security forces.
Massey was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
Metro homicide detectives were called to the 4400 block of Kevil Circle at about 10:30 a.m. Friday following a report of Massey being involved in a domestic dispute. They found Rivera’s body in the garage at that location.
