Coroner IDs toddler killed in Las Vegas accident

The Clark County coroner’s office on Saturday released the identity of a toddler who was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday night.

Clara Stephanie Castrejon-Jimenez, 1 year and 10 months old, died of multiple injuries from an auto-pedestrian accident at 9:30 p.m. near Pecos Road and Dillon Avenue.

According to Las Vegas police Lt. Ken Romane, the driver stayed at the scene and there was no indication that alcohol was involved.
