The 19-year-old man killed Sunday when he lost control of a sport utility vehicle near Marina Lagoon Drive and Needles Highway was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as Laughlin resident Hiram Machado.
Las Vegas police said Machado was thrown from the Ford Explorer he was driving and pronounced dead on the scene. Police said the Explorer rolled over.
A 17-year-old passenger was not injured.
