In his Sunday column, editor Thomas Mitchell mistakenly stated that the 14th Amendment granted suffrage to free slaves. The 14th granted civil rights, while the 15th granted the right to vote.

A list of historical details provided by The Associated Press about the Pontiac car brand, which appeared in Monday's Review-Journal, contained an error. "Little GTO," a song inspired by the brand and originally titled "GTO," was by Ronny and the Daytonas.

A Los Angeles Times obituary of actress Bea Arthur, which appeared in Sunday's Review-Journal, said "Mame" won the Tony award in 1966 for best musical. In fact, "Man of La Mancha" won the Tony Award for best musical in 1966. Arthur won a Tony for featured actress in a musical in 1966 for her role in "Mame."
