• Geoff Schumacher’s Sunday column cited a CBS television report saying the enrollment at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is 18,000, but the university’s full-time equivalent enrollment in fall 2007 was 20,021. This figure is calculated by dividing all credit hours by a full-time load — 15 credit hours for undergrads. If all students are counted, regardless of credits, UNLV’s fall 2007 enrollment was 28,477.
