COSMOPOLITAN WOWS ‘EM AT SOUTH BEACH

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas apparently made a good impression at the Food Network's annual Wine & Food Festival in South Beach, Fla.

Noted foodie Andy Wang of the New York Post tweeted Saturday that he went to The Cosmopolitan's bash "and a Miami society party broke out. Certain nightclubs must be wondering where their customers are."

The Cosmo took over the New World Center and had Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg provide late-night bites for a private late night bash. Chef David Myers of Comme Ça was there as well. Comme Ca cocktails were served at the soiree.

In attendance: food and wine industy heavyweights Giada de Laurentiis, Andrew Zimmern, Gail Simmons, host of Top Chef, Just Desserts, Tyler Florence, Marc Forgione (winner of Next Iron Chef Season 3), Scott Conant, John Besh (Next Iron Chef Season One and Top Chef All Stars), Alex Guarnaschelli (Judge on Food Networks Chopped and host of Alex's Day Off on Food Network), Bryan Voltaggio (Top Chef Season 6), Spike Mendelsohn - (Top Chef season 4 and Top Chef All stars), Chef Morimoto, Tim Love, John DeLucie, Nate Appleman (Next Iron Chef Season 2, Food & Wine Best New Chef 2009), Chris Kostow (Food & Wine Best New Chef 2009), Paul Bartolotta, Wylie Dufranse, Marc Murphy (Judge on Food Networks Chopped), Alfred Portale (Chef/Owner Gotham and Gotham Steak).
