Man fatally shot outside North Las Vegas business
A man was killed in an overnight shooting outside a North Las Vegas market.
North Las Vegas police said the 27-year-old man was standing in front of the El Paso Market at 3712 E. Owens Ave., near Pecos Road, when an unknown suspect shot him several times at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect then fled on foot, police said. The man was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
Police have not released any information on the suspect. The county coroner's office will release the dead man's name after relatives have been notified.

This was the seventh homicide in North Las Vegas this year.
