Metro is investigating the death of a toddler in the southeast valley that was reported Saturday morning.
Police were called about 11:30 a.m. to the 6300 block of Boulder Highway, near the Russell Road intersection, where they found the dead 1 year old, Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
The abuse and neglect unit will investigate the death, Goodwin said.
More details were not immediately available.
The Clark County coroner's office will identify the toddler and determine the cause of death.
