Excessive heat warning for Las Vegas Valley expires at 7 p.m.

It'll be blazing hot only for a few more hours. Much of Southern Nevada is under an excessive heat warning until 7 p.m.
The warning, issued by the National Weather Service, is in effect for areas below 4,000 feet. Temperatures are expected to be around 107 degrees in the valley, with highs reaching 112 along the Colorado River.
Temperatures are expected to cool off slightly Sunday, with highs around 103. Monday will be considerably cooler, with highs around 95.
