Fiery crash closes intersection at Rainbow Boulevard and Russell Road

One person was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after a fiery, three-vehicle wreck near South Rainbow Boulevard and West Russell Road Friday night.

Las Vegas police said initial reports indicate that one of the vehicles went into oncoming traffic about 6:10 p.m. One vehicle caught on fire.

The intersection was closed while police investigated the crash.

A Las Vegas police spokesman said they were waiting for an update on those injured in the crash.
