Fire damage to house put at $500,000

A Sunday house fire near Wigwam Avenue and Pecos Road caused $500,000 worth of damage, the Henderson Fire Department said.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at 113 Coventry Circle about 11:05 a.m.

The cause of the blaze that originated in the garage was unknown Sunday evening.

The two-story house suffered significant smoke and fire damage, the fire department said. It took firefighters 15 minutes to control the blaze.

Two adults and two children were displaced by the fire.
