Fire damages home of Heidi Fleiss
The aviary and about a quarter of Heidi Fleiss' Pahrump home was destroyed in a blaze this morning, the former Hollywood madame confirmed.
Neither she nor her 20 birds were harmed. The fire started about 7:30 a.m. in the chimney, she said.
"I'm fine and all my birds are fine. Nothing else matters," she said.
She plans on staying in the guest house while she rebuilds. No damage estimate was available.
