Former Eldorado principal resigns New Jersey post

Former Eldorado High School principal Ron Lustig has resigned as principal of Barringer High School in Newark, N.J., after just month into the school year.
The Newark Star-Ledger reports that the high school was in chaos because of discipline problems and scheduling problems. One 15-year-old student was sexually assaulted in a classroom.
Lusting had served as principal of Eldorado in northeast Las Vegas for the past three years. He was reportedly hired as principal of the New Jersey school because it had similar demographics to Eldorado.
Both schools seem to have had their share of violence. Tim VanDerbosch, a physics teacher at Eldorado, died Oct. 20 after he was struck by a car while fleeing assailants who robbed him just blocks from the school.
