Gaming stocks fall to new all-time lows

Gaming stocks fell to new all-time lows this morning as the overall stock market was down more than 400 points about an hour after opening.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS), which had traded at a high of $148 a year ago, was down more than 15 percent to $6.98 on the New York Stock Exchange. MGM Mirage (MGM)was at $10.28, down 5 percent. Wynn Resorts (WYNN) was trading at $39.30, a 52-week low on the Nasdaq National Market.

Shares of other gaming companies were down; Boyd Gaming (BYD) was at $3.98, down 5 percent; Pinnacle Entertainment (PNK) was at $3.73, down 6 percent; Ameristar Casinos (ASCA) was at $5.85, down 6 percent; International Game Technology (IGT) was at $10.50, down 6 percent; and Bally Technologies (BYI) was at $16.60, down 6 percent.
