Giuliani coming to Las Vegas to rally for GOP’s Mitt Romney

Rudy Giuliani is coming to Las Vegas on Friday to rally supporters for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The former New York mayor is no stranger to the campaign trail in Nevada. Giuliani ran for president four years ago - and even picked up one Republican delegate in Nevada - before dropping out of the race.

On Friday, Giuliani will visit the Team Nevada office on West Tropicana Boulevard where the Republican National Committee and the Romney campaign are working together.

Acting as a campaign surrogate, Giuliani is expected to talk up Romney's business credentials and take a swipe or two at President Barack Obama's efforts to revive the economy. Nevada remains the hardest hit state in the nation with unemployment at 11.6 percent, which is several points higher than the national average.

Limited tickets are being distributed to Team Nevada volunteers and Republican supporters for the event .

Doors open at 8 a.m. and the event is set to wrap up by 9:30 a.m.

"It's an exciting time for Republicans in Nevada, and we need your support to make sure we turn Nevada red this November," read an email to supporters.
