GOP’s Guedry drops out of race for Titus’ seat

Republican John Guedry has ended his campaign for the congressional seat held by Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev. Guedry cited family reasons for the abrupt end to his short campaign.

"Recent events have compelled me as a father and husband to end my campaign for public office and focus my attention on important issues closer to home," Guedry said in a written statement.

Titus now has no challengers. Her seat is considered the most vulnerable among the three Nevada congressional districts.
