Henderson police seek man on motorized scooter in jewelry store theft

Henderson police were looking for a man wanted for questioning in a February jewelry store theft.

The theft happened Feb. 27 at a store in the jewelry store near Sunset Road and Stephanie Street.

The man, who was black with a mustache and weighed about 300 pounds, left the scene on a motorized scooter, police said. He wore a black jacket, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and black-framed glasses.

No weapons were used during the theft.
