Hockey: Wranglers lose Game 2 in playoff series

The Las Vegas Wranglers wasted a two-goal lead and suffered a 3-2 home loss to the Bakersfield Condors tonight in Game 2 of their ECHL first-round playoff series.

Mark Derlago scored the winning goal for the Condors with 1:36 to play in the third period, tying the best-of-7 series at a game apiece. The teams will play Game 3 at Bakersfield, Calif., at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Sean Owens and Dan Riedel scored for Las Vegas in the first period, but the Condors tied the game at 2-all on goals by Chad Painchaud and Derlago only 2:44 apart early in the second.
