Human remains found in car in northeast valley

Human remains were found in the trunk of a burned-out car just after midnight today. Clark County firefighters discovered the car ablaze on an access road off Lamb Boulevard, north of Cheyenne Avenue at 12:07 a.m. Once the flames were extinguished, firefighters found the remains and called police, according to the department’s homicide section.

The vehicle was identified as a dark gray 2001 Toyota sedan with Nevada plates. Police did not release the identity of the deceased. Anybody with information on the crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
