Death penalty to be sought in waiter death

The Clark County district attorney's office will seek the death penalty against a man with a violent history who is accused of killing a Trevi waiter on the Strip.

Authorities said Wednesday that they are seeking the death penalty against Bryan Hall, who is accused of killing Brad Flamm in May.

Flamm's badly beaten body was found by the loading docks of Caesars Palace. Hall, 28, had worked with Flamm.

Hall is facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon.

He is scheduled to go to trial in October.

DISCOVERED IN APARTMENT

One of two roommates found dead identified

One of two roommates found shot to death inside their apartment earlier this week was identified Wednesday by the Clark County coroner's office as 26-year-old Paul Alexander Stephens of Las Vegas.

The bodies of Stephens, and a man yet to be identified, were found Monday by Las Vegas police at the Polo Club apartments, 4201 S. Decatur Blvd., near Flamingo Road.

The coroner's office reported Stephens died from gunshots to his face and head.

Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts has said the victims might have been dead for up to 24 hours before their bodies were discovered. A friend went to the apartment to check on their welfare and alerted police, Roberts said.

Anyone with information on the shootings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.

Coroner identifies man found dead in street

The body of a slain man discovered earlier this week on a northwest valley street was identified Wednesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Wyatt Marcel King of North Las Vegas.

The coroner's office reported King, 24, died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Las Vegas police discovered King's body Tuesday about 6 a.m. on the 3800 block of Aspen Cove Street, near Alexander Road and the Las Vegas Beltway.

Police could not be reached for comment on the case Wednesday. As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made.
