iPhone auteurs roll out mass of music videos

Is that a camcorder in your pocket, or you just happy to see yourself on YouTube?

Proving that a camera is simply a tool for creativity, a bevy of music videos shot and edited on the Apple iPhone video camera are now available online.

The Yahoo News story featuring 10 creations captured with Apple’s famous smart phone includes everything from "Nancy Lee" by Vintage Trouble, shot, directed and edited by Emmy-winner Alen Petkovic to "Cascades" by Flakjakt. This video is the result of less than four days' work, which included composing the song.

A viewer comment on this video's YouTube page sums it up nicely:
"The iPhone is not what made this video what it is, it's the editing. Everyone can use the same camera but it's the creativity of the editor that makes the final product shines. The iPhone did indeed help capture the footage but honestly w/o the music and cuts it would just be plain old video. My prop goes to the editor, great cutting skillz. You cut film up like a samurai cuts-up his foes, with precision."
