Las Vegas man in critical condition after garage fire

A local man was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition following a Saturday morning garage fire on Turquoise Ridge Street.

The fire happened just before 6 a.m. in Stone Ridge Condominiums. Black smoke was seen coming from the garage door of a two-story, multi condo building. Firefighters found the man lying unconscious on the floor.

It took less than a minute to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by both Las Vegas Fire investigators and Las Vegas police. No further injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
