Vehicle hits Henderson post office

HENDERSON (AP) — Police say nobody was injured after a man drove through the front of a post office in Henderson.

City spokeswoman Kathleen Richards says the crash happened at about 1 p.m. Tuesday on St. Rose Parkway near Eastern Avenue.

Richards says a man in his 60s jumped the curb and went into the building. Richards says a female passenger was taken to the hospital with chest pains, but those didn’t appear to be related to the crash.

Richards said a building inspector was on site Tuesday afternoon to examine the damage.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the post office was closed after the crash.
