Lil Jon just wants you to dig Vegas

When rapper Lil Jon performs as a DJ in Las Vegas, his goal is for women to conclude, "I had a ball, and I did something I would never do," he tells me.

"I've had girls take off their bras and take them to the DJ booth," he says. "Sometimes I just get crazy, and I make people do crazy stuff."

His personal best: collecting 20 bras in one DJ booth.

"I want the women to totally enjoy Vegas," he says. "That's what Vegas is about -- just being free and having a good time. I try to give people memories.

"I want them to feel like it's New Year's Eve or the biggest party they've ever been to."

He spins again Wednesday night at club Surrender ($30-$40).

Lil Jon himself doesn't get out much in Vegas.

"I usually am recovering from drinking all night. So when I come" to Vegas, he says, "I don't get to see the other stuff. I do the clubs mainly, sleep all day, and back out at night."

LOCAL GUARD SHACK ON TMZ

Floyd Mayweather Jr. had a verbal confrontation with a security guard at his gated community around 4 a.m. on Dec. 19, and TMZ posted video that seems to be official guard shack footage.

Now, I'm not going to defend Mayweather for one reason: He made me wait an hour, the last time I was supposed to interview him at his gym. That's rude. I left and found someone else famous to interview.

However, this video appears to be official surveillance video -- and audio -- from the community that he pays HOA fees to, so it can stay in business.

Does this mean that when you and I arrive at security gates around Vegas, we're being recorded by HOAs for future use on TMZ?

That would be messed up.

TMZ says the video has been turned over to authorities because Mayweather is fighting a previous misdemeanor charge on allegations he poked a guard in the face.

Anyway, in this low-level dust-up between Mayweather and the guard, the boxer takes issue because the guy is asking him for identification -- when he is very clearly Floyd Mayweather Jr., one of the most recognizable people in that neighborhood, in Vegas and the world.

"Let me in my house! Your job is lettin' me in my house. You ain't bought my house. I bought it. Stop giving me a hard time. You don't give (George) Maloof a hard time!"

The guard keeps calmly and politely calling the cussing Mayweather "sir."

Mayweather finally gets out of the SUV he is driving to go push the gate button himself, then gets back in the vehicle and drives off.

The side of Mayweather's SUV reads, "Miss Jackson." That's his girlfriend's business or something. And there you have it, another big, stupid story thanks to TMZ.

NEWLYWED CHRISTMAS

Mirage headliner Terry Fator says new bride Taylor gave him "the coolest gifts imaginable" for Christmas.

Fator is a Dallas Cowboys fan, so Taylor got him a Cowboys helmet signed by "every one of the greats from the '70s," he says.

She also got him a seat back and some turf from Texas Stadium, plus rare and first-edition books.

He got her what she had asked for, Louis Vuitton luggage, 12-carat hoop earrings, and some "smaller stuff."
