A man wanted in connection with a June shooting of an employee and attempted robbery in a Subway restaurant has been arrested, Metro announced Saturday.
Erin Ware, 25, was identified by local and federal police and was arrested Aug. 10 in Reno, police said in a news release. He was brought to Las Vegas on Friday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, two counts of robbery with a weapon, burglary with a weapon and battery with intent to commit robbery.
First responders were called about 2:40 p.m. on June 10 to the restaurant in the 8700 block of Maryland Parkway, near the Wigwam Avenue intersection, police said.
Metro alleges Ware shot the Subway worker after demanding money. That person was taken to University Medical Center in serious condition.
Metro had asked for the public's help identifying the would-be-robber by releasing photos from the surveillance video the day after the shooting.
