Man dies in parking garage accident involving semitrailer truck

A man is dead after a semitrailer truck accident Friday afternoon in the parking garage at the Indian Springs Casino.

The man and his coworker, both truck drivers, were attempting to connect a cab to its trailer about 3 p.m, Las Vegas police said. A driver was backing up to connect the hitch, but felt something was wrong. When he checked on his coworker, the man was dead.

Police were uncertain whether the man was run over or pinned between the truck and trailer. The Las Vegas police’s fatal accident detail is investigating.
